Reminder! Grades 1-12 will have school on Friday Sept. 26th. We will have an early release when we return from Grenora around 1:00-1:15PM. Buses will run when we return.

Friday, September 26: Floatbuilding & Play Day in Grenora
Dress Up Day: Black & Gold
All students and teachers in grades 1-12 will get on the bus and head to Grenora. Grades 1-6 will participate in Play Day, and grades 7-12 will build floats.
We will all eat lunch in Grenora, and then watch the parade at noon.
We will then return to Westby and dismiss students for the day. We should be back in Westby at around 1:00 or 1:15 pm.
Buses will run once we get back from Grenora at around 1:00 or 1:15 pm.

Thursday, September 25: JH/JV/Varsity Volleyball @ Medicine Lake vs. Froid-Lake starting at 4:00 pm

Reunion Help We are asking for all HS students to help out Saturday, June 28th at the reunion. We would like you to arrive at the school by 3:30 to help with the catered dinner. Students would be done by 7:30. Thank you!

The June regular meeting of the Westby School Board of Trustees has been rescheduled to Monday, June 16, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Conference Room.

Bus leave times Friday for District Music Festival in Glasgow. 5:00 am from the school and 5:30 am from the Blue Moon for Blake, Thadious, and Lennox. 8:30 am from the school for all other participants. Thank you!

Attention Parents/Guardians, We have a couple of different scenarios for tomorrow as we head into district basketball tournaments. If the girls basketball team loses tonight, Pep Band will leave at 8:30 am tomorrow to be able to play for the girls game at 11:00 am in Sidney. If the girls basketball team wins tonight, Pep Band will leave at 2:00 pm tomorrow to be able to play for the boys game at 5:00 pm in Sidney. If you have any questions, please call the office! Due to the extremely cold temperatures, we are going to have another late start tomorrow Wednesday, February 19th. We will start school at 9:00 am. Buses will run one hour later than usual. Thank you!

Join us tonight at the Westby Community Center for a free will spaghetti dinner and bingo! Dinner will begin at 5:30PM with bingo following at 6:30PM! Show your school spirit for dress up days next week as we cheer on our Mondak Thunder Wrestlers at State and Basketball Teams at the District Tournament in Sidney!! Feb. 17-21.

Westby School will have a late start tomorrow (Thursday, February 6th) at 10:00 am due to the weather and road conditions. Breakfast will not be served. As of now, bus routes will run two hours later than normal. Thank you for your understanding!

Weekly Bulletin 1.30.25 Support your Mondak Thunder basketball teams at the District BB Tournament and enter a booster message in the tournament book! Sheets will be posted in the Westby School office and at Westby Grocery until Feb. 5th! $5.00 per entry! Little Thunder Cheer Camp! $20 per camper. They will perform at halftime of the varsity basketball games on Feb. 8th. Registration forms and additional information are available in the Westby School office.
